Big Earth Data in Support of the Sustainable Development Goals (2020) was released on September 26, 2020, by the Chinese government at the "Poverty Eradication and South-South Cooperation" High-level Video Conference, on the 75th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations. Drafted by the Big Earth Data Science Engineering Program (CASEarth) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), the report showcases China's efforts to implement Transforming our World: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and in particular, the prospect of utilizing Big Earth Data for monitoring and evaluating the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
