The International Advisory Committee (IAC) is a component of CBAS’ consultation mechanism, comprised of 18 leading experts from 12 countries in the field of sustainable development, Digital Earth, Big Earth Data, and geospatial informatics. It is also responsible for advising CBAS on long-term development and strategic planning and is committed to fulfilling its role on advising CBAS for planning and operation, while aligning CBAS’ objectives, priorities, and research with emerging concepts and challenges in achieving global sustainability.
