LIU Guang is a professor of CBAS. He received the B.E. degree in Applied physics from Tsinghua University, China, in 2002; and the Ph.D. degree in Cartography and Geography Information System from UCAS, China in 2008. His current research interests include microwave remote sensing and moon based earth observation, he is the Director of Microwave Remote Sensing unit of CBAS and Member of Youth Promotion Association of Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has published more than 70 SCI indexed journal papers (more than 40 first/corresponsor); and the first inventor of 10 granted patents. He has been the PI for more than 10 related scientific research projects, including major projects of the NSFC and strategic pilot A pre-research projects of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in recent five years.
