Professors
Han Chunming is a Professor of CBAS. He has ample experience in imaging radar, Big Earth Data for sustainable development, and his work spans development and application of new imaging radar. Professor Han's research involves the scattering mechanism of radar wave and target, the design and development of radar scientific experimental system, the design and development of imaging radar, imaging radar data processing, imaging radar data applications. He also developed SAR data processing software, which can carry out radar imaging processing, interference processing, geocoding, orthophoto correction, radar image regional network adjustment and radar image mapping. His current work mainly focuses on the research and development of new ground-based radar system, which monitors landslide, ground subsidence, deformation of large artificial buildings and glacier flow. He is planning to develop mobile ground moving radar to solve the problem that ground radar can only monitor landslides at fixed points, which can quickly monitor large-area landslides, reduce the monitoring cost of landslides and other geological disasters, and promote the sustainable development of society. He has published over thirty academic papers.
