President, International Society for Digital Earth
Alessandro Annoni is currently President of the International Society for Digital Earth (ISDE). Before his retirement in 2020 he was the Head of the Digital Economy Unit at the European Commission – Joint Research Centre (JRC).
His unit provided techno-socio-economic research in support to the Digital Economy and ensured the technical coordination of the INSPIRE Directive developing the European Spatial Data Infrastructure.
